Yesterday was the first properly busy day I’d had all week – I was looking at rooms for the new class in Cambridge and later having coffee with a friend plus all the usual pick ups, drop offs, hanging out washing and cooking that goes with parenting. I managed a 3 minute breathing space and another brief 5 minute meditation.  I vowed I would meditate when I got into bed but within minutes I was asleep – a good example of why perhaps meditating in bed late at night after a glass of wine is not ideal! Total practice time: 10 minutes Today there has been more opportunities to meditate. I started off with a full body scan that lasted for 30 minutes, I later did a walking meditation by the canal – bliss! Total practice time: 35 minutes
