  1. Hi, this is the perfect course I have been looking for but is too far for me to travel as I live in Warrington, near Manchester!
I suffer from depression and anxiety and trying to get into mindfulness meditation but struggling with it!
Can you please help or point me in the right direction
    Many thanks, kelly

  2. Hello My name is Norman Browning and I am 84years old and have been to Nepal
three times and travelled in India and Korea in the war, I am interested in meditation and am also looking for the best way to meditate

    1. Hi Norman, there are many different branches of meditation. This website is all about mindfulness meditation which is a secular practice that involves paying attention on purpose, in the present moment, non-judgementally. The best place to start might be to read a little online on different types of meditation, deciding whether you want religious or secular, chanting or no chanting etc and then once you know what type sounds right for you look into either classes or buying a book on this type of meditation. Classes can support your practice but books are useful too if you have motivation and staying power. Hope that helps. Becky

  3. Research studies indicate that mindfulness can be a powerful tool to help lower symptoms of stress and anxiety.

Many people who learn mindfulness become less anxious, more
stimulated and experience less symptoms of stress.
Mindfulness helps improve a person’s ability to concentrate, and become more engaged in their job.
