Structure of the day: Arrival and introductions before going into silence. We will stay in silence for between 4-5 hours during which time we will do a range of practices and have lunch in silence. Participants are welcome to leave the building during lunch but are asked to continue to observe the silence if they do so. After lunch we will continue to practice in silence until around 3pm when participants will be invited to reflect on their experiences of the day. We will then slowly come out of silence – sharing in pairs or threes our experiences before coming back together as a group. Once we have shared our experiences, we will have one last sit together as a group. Please note sharing with the group is optional. Herbal tea and refreshments will be provided.

Please note this is a one off practice session and no materials will be given out. However most of the meditations we will do are available free to download from this website to enable you to continue practicing after the session.
